Boston Store - Superior

A Boston Store was located in Superior in addition to the stores in Duluth and Hibbing. It was operated by S Y Josephs and L M Shapiro. According to the 1912 news article below, the Boston Store was opened several years before and the "business has shown a steady increase." The company was incorporated in 1912 as the S. Y. Josephs Company and apprently later operated under that name.

The names mentioned in the article as the owners of the business, L. Y. Josephs, L. M. Shapiro and H. C. Wilson, are probably listed in Jack's Family Tree Database, but it is not clear who they actually were.
