Sidney Robert Buchman (1902-1975) was a screenwriter and film producer who worked on about 40 films from the late 1920s to the early 1970s. He was born in Duluth. His parents were Sarah (Zalk) and Robert Buchman. Robert was born in Russia in 1874, immigrated to the US, and settled in Duluth around 1895.
