Norman Levine, 83, died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Mr. Levine was born in Duluth and was the owner of Norm's Reliable, a gift, jewelry and sporting goods store, for 30 years. Mr. Levine was a World War II Army veteran. He was a 33rd degree Mason.

While in Duluth, Norm enjoyed flying his own plane, fishing and golfing. The Levines retired to Florida in 1978, but revisited friends in Duluth each summer until a few years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; two daughters, Esther Merium (Chris) Peers and Frances D. (Harvey) Tjader; three grandsons; and one granddaughter.

Burial was in Fort Lauderdale.
